Canorum First Beta

First beta release for Canorum is available. There is still a lot of work left to do, but the basic feature set is complete enough for a (semi) stable release. Binaries can be downloaded from the Google Play Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.ciasaboark.canorum

Or from Github:

The Google Play Store listing was initially rejected until I removed most of the screenshots, so to see a preview hit the github link above.

Canorum Update

Added a few neat features to Canorum this weekend, mostly focusing on polishing up the base features already there:

-added mini controls to show whats currently playing while in library view
-library browser now wrapped in a proper ViewPager
-library browser uses square tile layout
-transition animations added
-artist detail view no longer clips heads
-starting work on phone layouts
-fixed a number of multi-threading bugs

There are still a number of bugs that need sorting out and missing features to implement, but it looks like I might still be on track for a beta release around the end of the month.

Canorum Alpha

Lots of features added to Canorum over the last two days. Now supports:

-browsing by artist and album
-playlist queue
-recently played stack (with size limitation evicting)
-adding whole albums to play queue (front or back)
-adding whole artist playlists to queue (front or back)
-viewing detailed artist info (with hero image and wikipedia snippet)
-better color palette async generation

Hopefully I’ll be able to finish the basic features within the next two weeks. If so I’ll be able to publish a Play Store beta release
